"I cannot recommend this course enough"

I'm a Sustainability Specialist at a non-profit research and technical center focused on the cork industry (CTCOR). We support companies from this industry in all aspects of environment, compliance, product testing and quality etc. I got to know about this course through LinkedIn and particularly through the free ESRS case studies and was immediately drew by the honest, sometimes even blunt yet respectful and constructive criticisms and suggestions that were made regarding each case study. This open minded culture translated to the course itself with pratical examples and questions that require critical thinking and a more in-depth understanding of the spirit of the CSRD regulation rather than just the letter of said regulation. I cannot recommend this course enough for any professional looking to establish a stable base of knowledge to build upon.

👋 Hey. Maria and Simon here. In short, we:

👥 spent 6 years each at the intersection of tech & product psychology and ESG.

🌎 created a movement that helps 300+ ESG consultants to create clear, meaningful (and ethical) sustainability reports.

We created this package to help people like you use practical examples, and AI tools to understand complex regulation language, learning how to apply it, sharpen your skills, delight your customers and help companies be more sustainable and compliant faster. You’ve seen what we do in our free tools. Now it’s time for you to have the exact knowledge and tools to do the same for your ESG journey.

Meet your instructors
From corporate laywers, sustainability consultants to founders.

Q: “Is this package for me?”

This package is NOT for you if…

  • You care more about compliance than actual sustainability. The complexity of ESRS standards arises from the urgent need for companies to comprehend their real impact. The courses and tools we offer will assist you in applying concepts of real impact effectively.
  • You are not willing to challenge the status quo. If you prefer to apply sustainability concepts in your own way and are not open to expanding your perspectives with guidance from our experts or utilizing resources that drive real impact, then this package will not align with your needs.
  • You care more about ‘hitting your KPIs’ than about understanding your sustainability. This framework focuses on genuinely helping you understand practical CSRD/ESRS and supporting every step of the way as they put real sustainability into practice.
  • You want to do sustainability reporting quick, to check the mark. If your interest lies in rapid compliance without genuine impact, we are not inclined to support such approaches.

This package is FOR YOU if…

  • You’re a ESG manager, marketer, sustainability researcher or consultant who cares about providing value to your stakeholders, or you’re a team manager who wants to level up their team.
  • You create digital experiences. While this program could help any company, our lessons are designed for digital products and online experiences: SaaS, mobile, B2B, B2C, Gaming, e‑commerce, banking, insurance, etc.
  • You have a strong bias toward action and want real results. You like to implement what you learn instead of just reading theory. With practice, you’ll become faster at finding gaps and more confident in the solutions you create.
  • You’re looking for a practical & applicable system to create better experiences using the same psychological frameworks we use in our case studies.
  • You want timeless learnings & assets that’ll help you solve complex problems in your daily work long after you’ve gone through the package.
  • You want to add “AI” to your toolbox, to become the go-to “AI-sustainability person” in your company, or just stand out as a potential candidate for your next job.
  • You like our free tools. You want to progress in the same engaging format we use but more in-depth and with a structured approach.

Excellent!

Excellent way to put the heavy load of the ESRS Standards into common language.

As a Sustainability Engineer for a global manufacturing company who is working on implementation of CSRD, this tool is very useful to understand the requirements of CSRD, especially the various data points. As feedback I would consider the option to save when you tick certain boxes on the datapoints. This would allow the user to track which datapoints are yet to be worked on.

Cheryl Bezzina

An easy to use ESRS tracking tool.

I found it very useful and I've already recommend it to the sustainability professionals I know.

As someone responsible for ESG and reporting at Future Processing, I've found the ESRS Navigator to be an important tool in my work. Its user-friendly design and accessibility have made it an exceptional guide through the complexities of ESG reporting on ESRS standard basis. Navigating through the requirements and ensuring compliance with new standards can be daunting, but the ESRS Navigator simplifies this process remarkably. It functions much like a lighthouse, illuminating the key points and guiding users in creating reports that adhere to the latest standards. The clarity with which it outlines what needs to be done is its standout feature, making it an invaluable resource for professionals in the field of ESG reporting. The ESRS Navigator has not only enhanced my efficiency but also might have a significant impact on our ESG reporting practices.

Im a sustainability consultant mostly working on extra financial reporting and business model transformation. So far I haven't "used" the navigator per se, but I keep an eye on this great project and its evolution (cooperation within sustainability professionals is greatly appreciated and will be key for tackling the issues the world is facing). The mapping from ESRS to DR to datapoint and the fact that you integrated references to the delegated act is really nice! Thank you for your work.

Hey boss,

There's a course on CSRD/ESRS that looks great. It's a masterclass that shows how to apply ESRS standards to our ESG reporting. It'll be around 1100 EUROS, and the reviews are excellent. There are reviews from sustainability directors at companies like Microsoft, Future Processing, and Eurocorp, etc.

The course is packed with practical tactics and tools (like a product to navigate the ESRS documentation and data points at the same time, and templates) that I can use for our work. It'll take me about 4 weeks to complete (1-2 hrs/week). In short, it'll help us speed up our CSRD project as well as ensure we are aligned with ESRS standards. Their case studies highlight how the 15 reports most aligned to ESRS conducted their CSRD projects. Here’s the link: https://www.palauproject.com. Is it OK to expense this?

P.S. Should we offer it to the team? (They'll have team discounts.)
It's common for managers to ask how this course aligns with your role and goals. Here are some answers you can use as a starting point. Feel free to modify them to your context:
What time commitment is required to complete this course?

The program is self-paced so I can complete it gradually. 4 weeks should be enough time to go through this course (~1 module per week). Each module has 1–2 hours of theory + application. The course will help us apply what I’ve learned to our CSRD project as efficiently as possible.

How do you see this course impacting your work here?

This course will make me a better contributor to the team

After I complete this course, I’ll be able to better:

  1. Find gaps in our ESG reporting
    • Understand the ESRS disclosure requirements.
    • Quickly spot areas of improvement in specific areas of our reporting process.
    • See precisely where our sustainability report fails in aligning to ESRS/CSRD.
  2. Create solutions based on best practices
    • Go from ESRS documentation to concrete real applications.
    • Turn our ESG reporting into a process that is aligned with CSRD.
    • Know which ESRS standards to apply and when.
  3. Make better ESG decisions
    • Find working solutions with less trial and error.
    • Have a clear structure to articulate ESG/ESRS decisions.
    • Rally our team behind the best (and most ethical) decisions.
How does this course align with your personal or team goals?

I care a lot about our ESG performance (and I think our team does too). Understanding how ESRS works is key to building a better ESG effort. That’s what led me to this ESRS course.

How do you plan to disseminate this knowledge to your team?

The course was designed to be practical, so I can immediately apply the learnings at work. The lessons include several exercises and activities that will help me present new ideas and solutions to the team. We could also enrol as a group to make the collaboration around the key concepts explained in this program easier (they offer team discounts).

How’s this course different from [other programs and bootcamps]?

This course is built for busy ESG teams who want results, not just more information. Each lesson follows a proven methodology to help me learn, practice, and apply concepts immediately. The instructors are also well-known in the industry, and their case studies highlight ESG principles used by the best examples of reports done under ESRS. They use an engaging story-based lesson format to better understand the regulation and build the right sustainability report.

Frequently asked questions.

⚖️The CSRD and ESRS

What is the difference between the CSRD and ESRS?

The Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) is an EU regulation that requires large companies to annually report on their environmental and social impact. The European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) are the specific guidelines that outline what information these companies need to report under the CSRD. Essentially, while the CSRD establishes the need for sustainability reporting, the ESRS provides the detailed criteria and content that must be included in these reports, ensuring transparency and consistency in how companies disclose their sustainability practice.

Who is to report under the CSRD and when?

Under the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), about 50,000 companies in the EU must report their sustainability practices, with different groups starting at different times:

  • Large companies already reporting under the Non-Financial Reporting Directive (NFRD), large banks, insurance companies, and non-EU listed companies with over 500 employees must start reporting in 2025, based on data from 2024.
  • Other large companies, including non-EU listed companies, will begin reporting in 2026, using data from 2025.
  • Listed small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), including those not in the EU, are to start reporting in 2027 with data from 2026, but they have the option to delay reporting until 2029.
  • Non-EU companies generating more than €150 million in the EU and having significant operations there (either through a branch generating over €40 million or a subsidiary that is a large company or listed SME) will need to report by 2029, focusing on data from 2028.

This phased approach allows companies of different sizes and geographical locations to prepare for and comply with the CSRD's sustainability reporting requirements.

What is the ESRS double materiality assessment?

The double materiality assessment in the ESRS involves companies evaluating two things: how their actions affect the environment and society, and how environmental and social issues impact their finances. They need to report on important issues in both areas. If they believe something like climate change doesn't apply to them, they must explain why. This process requires looking into how their business operations and financial health are connected to these issues. It's not just about meeting regulations; it helps companies identify how they can become more sustainable and plan better for the future.

⏰ Content & Registration

Is this a course or a toolbox for ESRS?

Our ESRS package is designed to be a comprehensive blend of both a course and a toolbox. Why? Because our primary objective is to empower you with confidence in navigating ESRS. By enrolling in our package, you'll gain access to a course that demystifies ESRS concepts and principles. Additionally, you'll be equipped with practical tools like the ESRS Navigator, which provides a user-friendly interface for accessing implementation steps, data points, and more, all in a format that's easier to digest than the original document.

Why is the registration only open for a specific period?

For two reasons:

Reason 1: Workload
Managing ESRS registrations takes up a lot of our time. We have to:answer emails from all customers.send custom invoices (for companies)follow-up on package feedback…and much moreUnfortunately, while we do this, we don't have the time to do anything else (software updates, course improvements, new projects, etc). So we stop creating and put all our projects on hold.

Reason 2: Learning Experience
Closing registrations allows us to improve the learning experience. By limiting the number of people we invite and the registration periods, we are:more available to help sustainability practitioners by answering questions about the package.actively brainstorming ways to improve based on users' feedback.improving the package content continuously.

Deadline exceptions
We’ll remove the buttons to register after two months.  But if you missed the deadline because you were waiting on a budget approval, email us and we'll make an exception for you.

💳 Operations & Payment

Do you offer a guarantee?

Yes, the course is guaranteed. We strongly believe in the research and hard work behind this ESRS package, but if you're not satisfied, you can use the money-back guarantee. We take all the risk to make this a no-brainer for you.

Can I pass this as a business expense?

Yes, we will create a pre-written email template  for you to use to save time and make it easier to ask your manager. And don't forget, you're covered by the money-back guarantee explained above if you're not satisfied with the course.

We’re here to help.

We’re confident you’ll love the package (hence our no-brainer guarantee).
But if you’re still on the fence, we’ll be happy to answer your questions.
